First Day of School

The sixth grader and fourth grader were off this morning at 8:15, we had some butterflies in the stomach, I think it hit Torie that she is now the big girl on campus at school.
Hair done and hobo bags, no more backpacks for these girls
Here she is the newest 6th grader, go Torie you'll be awesome!
Tara was so excited to hear her teacher was Mrs. Hastings, here's to a great year, Bear!
All smiles before we left this morning and they came home with even bigger ones, we love you girls!

The Girls camp Experience

It was a great week for me, I have never been to girls camp as a youth, so I was a first year. I wasn't sure if I would know the ins and outs of camp, the girls were very helpful to me. These are our girls from our branch.
These are the girls from my unit, they were amazing. They have the sweetest testimonies and I appreciate them for the hard fight they fight everyday to choose the right.
We were practicing for the skit night we had coming up, we won, funniest skit!
She wouldn't talk.... so they made her..
Jessie got her skit attire on, go girl you're hot, call me
Being a first year I had to be initiated , it was scary, but I trusted them.....step one
step 2
First aid class.
Ropes course activities, I taught these.
Then it was time to return to our homes.......
Girls camp was a great experience for me and I love these young women more and more each day.

But, My Boat Has Wheels

As we were approaching the dock, we were showing Tanner all of the boats and we said, "Do you like the boats?" He said yes. He was then asked if those boats were like his and he said, "No mom my boat has wheels?!" Poor guy had never seen it off the trailer. He was glad to see that it worked on the water and that the wheels came off.
We were able to spend the day as a family out on the water and we had so much fun. Torie and Tara went wake boarding, Torie drove the boat and Noah and Lyla (niece and nephew) were there to enjoy the day also.
Torie popped up but then wasn't sure what to do?
She got some instructions from Dad on how to drive, and then did it on her own!

Tara got up and also wasn't sure how to stay up. Better luck next time girls! And there will be a next time! :)
Go Bear! You are awesome.
Everyone had a turn as flag person.

Big Daddy ( Tanner) went in 'cuz, "I gotta swim, Mom!"
Tanner are you having fun?
My poor niece couldn't move, but she was a great sport!
Noah was so excited for everyone else to be having so much fun
What a great day of fun, and no injuries! Yes!
