Family Home Evening

Tad and i have been trying to get the girls to appreciate where they live and understand how unique the mountains are. We were asked to go out for FHE on a little ride around Lake Arrowhead, Tad will never turn down a chance to have fun! We met 2 other families within the Young Mens Stake Pres. and grabbed some pizza and away we went for a sunset ride around the lake, and a little swimming, Tanner where are you?

CHINATOWN ANYONE???????

Amanda and I were trying to figure out what to do for Halloween costumes that wouldn't be disney stroe prices. We came to the conclusion that we would create our own Chinese gang. So what better place than Chinatown to get everything for ten dolla'.  We dropped the kids off at school and headed out the 80 miles to LA. We enjoyed the fashion, and food and made it back to collect the belongings from Charles Hoffman elementary school. I always appreciate Amanda and her outings she loves to plan......It was a great day of fun for Tanner and Mom!

Chargers Vs. The Jets

For my birthday Tad took me to a Monday night NFL game. It was alot of fun. We walked out of there with the first victory of the year, and we needed it. Sarah look who we saw, He says Hi.

We were able to spend a great night with the girls, Tanner stayed home. We got to witness baseball history in the making. KROD broke the save record of 57 and went to 58 right before our eyes! 

Underdogs Vs. Pink Panthers

Tara played today 9-13-08. They won 5-0. She did amazing, she played 4 different positions and was awesome in all. We are proud of our dominator on the field!!!!

Cyclones Vs. Elemonators

Torie played today, Tad and I  were asked to coach. We lost 1-0, but the only goal was on a free kick. The girls had no subs and were dead by the end. They played one of the toughest teams and did so awesome! The game was one of the best defensive games we've seen***

Cyclones Vs. Grape Soda

Torie had her first game today and she scored 2 goals! They won 11-6. She did great. She plays with a team that is 2 years older than her, her nick name is "shrimp".

Underdogs vs. Grasshoppers

Tara had her first game today, she was goalie and she did great. They won 6-1. It was a whole new Tara on that field......

First day of school****

Torie has entered 5th grade and Tara has entered 3rd grade this year. We wish them a great year and lots of success.
